"Fred" - long coat male, Bernadette/Roshi

"Fred" is a dreamboat. This pup is ready for anything and especially ready for toes to chew on! He naps hard and plays hard, but isn't quite as excitable as his sister, "Ginger." They make a great pair!

"Cassie" - long coat female, Flossie/Roshi

This is the most easy-going and relaxed of all the puppies we have right now. She lets the other pups come to her at playtime and might let you pick her up, if you ask nicely. A princess in every way.

PLACED long coat female, Flossie/Roshi

This glossy female was picked out by her future family this weekend, so she is not available, but we couldn't deprive anyone of seeing her lovely face.

Sire Profile - Sapo Roshi

Roshi is our sweet, happy boy. He doesn't go in for any of that male, macho attitude that some of the other sires do. Roshi just wants some friends to play with and his mom to snuggle with. Plus he has that gorgeous tail!

Sire Profile - Rey

Rey is our tiny man. While he does suffer from a mild case of "little man syndrome," it doesn't bother us, because he can be so sweet, and he passes those lovely eyes on to his offspring.

Litter Update - Bernie/Roshi

And the two stars of our show are Bernie's male and female. They have the advantage of being a week older than the other two litters, and are making the best of it! They are both walking and playing already, cute enough to melt the hardest heart.

The male is such a charmer. He already has every woman he meets wrapped around his little claw. The curly fur he is sporting doesn't hurt either!

The female is already a favorite, maybe even a keeper! She has the prettiest face we've seen on a puppy in a long while.

Litter Update - Flossie/Roshi

Flossie's two little girls are growing up quite nicely. They are both getting healthy coats of fur, so they have been confirmed as long coats!

The black and white female has started to develop little mittens of brindle on her front paws. She is quite the snuggler and loves to nap on any neck that might be available.

The brown female is a bit more aloof, but that just makes us want her to cuddle with us more. She definitely knows how to play hard to get!

Litter Update - Pigwigeon/Reese

Best new mother award goes to Pigwigeon! She has taken to motherhood spectacularly well. She makes sure that ALL of the pups are having their needs met, not just her own. Over the weekend, when we were giving the dams a little break from their duties, Pigwigeon declined our offer, opting to stay cuddled up in the middle of the puppy pile.

Her pups have their eyes open now and are starting to learn to walk, both are getting cuter everyday.

Fresh pics of the new litters!

Here are the newest pictures of the pups from Bernadette's and Flossie's litters. We will get pictures of Pigwidgeon's litter up next week. Both of these litters could be long coats, but it is just too soon to tell.

Litter 1 - Bernadette and Sapo Roishi - 1 male & 1 female

Here is some evidence of how laid back Bernie is as a mother. She lets Annie and Xanie nap in her crate WITH her puppies. None of the other dams would even consider this. Bernie has a big heart and just can't turn away her babysitting charges.

This is Bernie's male.

What striking markings, dressed in his tuxedo and ready to go!

Here is Bernie's female.

She is red with a chocolate strip down her back and white on her chest and paws.

Litter 2 - Flossie and Sapo Roishi - 2 females

Here is Flossie's black and white female.

(Look at that tongue!)

She is very calm and snoozed in my hand while i took pictures.

And here is Flossie's brown female.

Stay tuned for fresh updates!

Three Puppies Ready for Homes…and a New Litter is Born!

Hey guys!

We still have three adorable puppies waiting for homes at Main Street Chihuahuas HQ, and they are Annie, Xanadu and Paulie. Here are fresh pictures of all three puppies and a sneak peek of new developments…

Annie is an excellent poseur, if you can catch her sitting still (it doesn't happen often). She is turning out to be the most snuggle-friendly pup of the three. She loves to sleep on a chest, shoulder, arm, head…pretty much anywhere. She also loves to explore and wrestle with her sister, Xanie.

"Hi Mom!!!"

Xanadu is a bit harder to photograph. She is independant and loves to sniff out quiet corners to nap. She has a calm demeanor that complements Annie's animated personality. They are a great pair and we would LOVE it if they could find a home together.

See how sweet they are together!

This is their dam, Callie. She is a gorgeous, merle, long coat chihuahua.

Paulie is the ultimate charmer, a playful little boy who loves to cuddle. Below is a picture of his dam, Pearl, a merele, smooth coat chihuahua.

Here are some pictures of Paulie in action with some of our other chis.

And our new mother, Bernadette…

Bernie is a copper and white, long coat chihuahua who is still a puppy at heart. She is our chief babysitter. See her in action with our latest puppies below.

Her litter with Roshi (blue, long coat sire) is one black and white male and a copper and white female. We are not sure if they will be long or smooth coat yet.

Stay tuned for more pictures and details about these two!

The Final Four

We still have 4 puppies at the Main Street Chihuahuas HQ and they are getting sweeter and cuter EVERY DAY.

They are so delightful that we just had to bring them to a birthday party for a wonderful man who just turned 92! All of the pups were very good, but Moody and Paulie win the prize. Both the boys sat in the guest of honor’s lap for several hours and were so well-behaved (constant petting might have had something to do with it). The girls had their own fan club and charmed everyone who saw them.

Here are some new pictures of the puppies.

Paulie - $250

Paulie is ready to be a lifelong companion. He loves to be with people, and doesn't really care to be left behind. If you are looking for a dog that has a sense of humor and loves you more than anything, this is the pup for you!

dam: Pearl, sire: Ray
fawn and white, smooth coat
nickname: "Paulie"
DOB: 4/27/09
est. adult weight: 6-7 lb

Such a dreamboat

Flaunting his assets

"What's that?"

"My brother's such a goof."

Moody - $250

Moody is quite the looker. He has one brilliant blue eye and one hazel eye, and stunning markings. This pup loves to play and is already learning to listen to commands quite well. He is vivacious, affectionate and everything else one could want in a pup.

dam: Pearl, sire: Ray
dilute merle, smooth coat
nickname: "Mad-Eye Moody"
DOB: 4/27/09
est. adult weight: 6-7 lbs

This puppy was born with one dewclaw on his rear paw.

Ol' Blue Eye

It's hard work being a puppy.

"The paw had it coming!"

"Anyone want to play???"

Xanadu - $400

Xanie is a relaxed little girl with a solid blue fluffy coat. Her eyes are green now and may stay that color. She plays and naps enthusiastically. Her favorite companion is her sister, Annie. She gets along great with all of the pups and the older dogs too.

dam: Callie, sire: Sapo Roshi
blue, long coat
nickname: "Xanadu"
DOB: 4/25/09
est. adult weight: 4-5 lbs

Green-eyed beauty

Showing a little sass

Taking a break from the exploration

"I'm trying to nap here."

Annie - $500

Annie is the smallest of the pups, but she is not aware of that. When the big boys decide to wrestle with her, she takes on both of them and sends them scurrying. She loves to be in a lap and has the ability to sleep literally anywhere. Her sister, Xanadu, and her make a striking pair and they love to be with one another.

dam: Callie, sire: Sapo Roshi
blue, long coat
nickname: "Annie"
DOB: 4/25/09
est. adult weight: 3-4 lbs

Posing is a art, and Annie is an artist.

Such grace

Caught napping outside

"Hey you, get me down."
