The Final Four

We still have 4 puppies at the Main Street Chihuahuas HQ and they are getting sweeter and cuter EVERY DAY.

They are so delightful that we just had to bring them to a birthday party for a wonderful man who just turned 92! All of the pups were very good, but Moody and Paulie win the prize. Both the boys sat in the guest of honor’s lap for several hours and were so well-behaved (constant petting might have had something to do with it). The girls had their own fan club and charmed everyone who saw them.

Annie is the smallest of the pups, but she is not aware of that. When the big boys decide to wrestle with her, she takes on both of them and sends them scurrying. She loves to be in a lap and has the ability to sleep literally anywhere. Her sister, Xanadu, and her make a striking pair and they love to be with one another.

Callie is one of our favorite dams (though we love them all). She is a long coat, merle chihuahua with primary colorations of black, brown and gray. Her coat is absolutely gorgeous. She is about 7 lb with a sturdy (yet feminine) frame. Her personality is what really makes her stand out. She is a very calm, quiet dog. She loves to romp and play, but just doesn't make much noise while she's at it. She is a natural mother, very protective and devoted to her puppies.

This is Roshi's first litter to sire, and we think he did a bang up job. He is a long coat, blue chihuahua with a particularly pretty tail. He weighs approximately 5 lbs. He is a complete sweetheart and adores being around his humans.

There were 7 puppies in this litter, 5 females and 2 males, and they are a spectacular bunch. They are all long coat chihuahuas, though some may be fluffier than others. All of the puppies have had their first round of vaccinations and 3 rounds of dewormer.

Pearl is a merle, smooth coat chihuahua with primary colorations of silver, white and brown. She weighs approximately 7 lbs with an elegant frame. She is an enthusiastic mother and loves to play with her puppies. She has a sweet disposition and is not prone to yapping.

Ray is a fawn and white, smooth coat chihuahua with the most beautiful black eyes. He weighs approximately 3 lbs with a delicate frame. Ray much prefers being with his human mother than the other dogs and is a consummate companion. He loves to snuggle and is very affectionate.

Nemo

Nemo was our first stud, and he is a charming specimen. He is a black brindle, long coat chihuahua. Though he only weighs 3 lb, he is convinced that he is the king of all.
While some long coat chihuahuas don’t have the classic “chihuahua” disposition (they tend to be less excitable and more independent than their smooth coat couterparts), Nemo is the exception that proves the rule.
He loves to scamper along the back of the couch and “fix” everyone’s hair. Our little “hairdresser” is quick to play and even quicker to sneak into the house to enjoy a bit of AC. He is an easy-going little guy who has no trouble getting along with all of the other dogs (even the other studs!).
He passes his feisty and playful personality along to all of his offspring (along with his beautiful coloring and petite frame), making him one of our favorite studs.
